Buying tickets on Eventfinda is now even faster and easier with Express Checkout.
This allows ticket purchasers to securely check out using the payment methods already saved on their device, helping reduce the time it takes to complete a purchase, especially on mobile.
Why use Express Checkout?
It’s a quicker and more convenient checkout experience by allowing purchasers to:
- Pay without manually entering card details
- Complete purchases in just a few clicks
- Use secure payment authentication through Face ID, Touch ID, or device passcode
- Availability may vary depending on device, browser, and payment setup.
- Currently available with Apple Pay for eligible purchasers using supported Apple devices and browsers.
This makes purchasing tickets simpler, particularly for high-demand events.
During checkout, Eventfinda will collect your name, email address, and postcode from your payment provider. This information is used to attach your ticket purchase to your Eventfinda account. If you don't have an Eventfinda account, we'll use that information to create one on your behalf.
When is Express Checkout available
Express Checkout options will appear as a payment choice when:
- The purchaser is using a supported device and browser
- The event checkout flow supports express payment methods
- No additional ticketholder information is required for the event before payment
When Express Checkout may not be available
Express Checkout will be unavailable when an event requires additional information from ticket purchasers before payment can be completed, e.g.:
- Ticketholder questions
- Required custom details
- Add-ons like event merchandise
- Other checkout steps that require manual input
You can still complete your booking using the standard checkout process and other available payment methods.
