What are concession, early bird presales or multi-tickets?

When purchasing tickets for an event, promoters often offer a variety of ticket types, each at different price points. Here’s what you need to know about some of the most common ticket options:

Concession tickets
The term "concession" refers to discounted tickets that may be available for students, seniors, or other eligible groups. What qualifies for a concession can vary depending on the event, so it's important to check the event's ticket page for specific details. You may be asked to present proof of eligibility, such as a student ID or senior Gold Card, when you arrive at the event.

Early bird (presale) tickets
Early bird tickets offer a discounted price for those who book in advance. These tickets are typically available until a certain date or until a specific number of tickets have been sold. If you see early bird tickets for your desired event, be sure to purchase them soon before the offer expires!

Multi-tickets
Group tickets provide a discount when a minimum number of tickets are purchased together. The required number will be listed in the ticket description or shown when you select how many tickets you wish to buy. While you don’t need to attend the event as a group, everyone will receive an individual ticket at the reduced price.
